I only understand Bb tuba and euphonium/trombone parts in treble clef, so I transpose from bass clef by adding two sharps to the bass clef key signature i.e. treble clef F & C and read down two lines (for line notes) and two spaces (for space notes). A bass clef F transposes to a treble clef G, and a bass clef G becomes a treble A.

4 I'm looking for some input into techniques that I can use to extend my range on a Euphonium. I'm able to get a top C reasonably reliably, but anything above that is just not there. What are common techniques for a brass player to extend their range?

I know however the difference between a euphonium and a baritone (horn (?)). I am researching different brass instruments and when seeing them in Thomann I get a mess in my head. So, can anybody help me clarify the difference between all thse instruments.
