Likewise, ProScan and the developer (@ProScan) are simply top-notch in the scanner world. Even with the free 30-day trial of fully functioning ProScan software, don’t expect to become an expert overnight. There is sooooooo much packed in to that application you will be amazed!
I get the zip file for the Proscan software and can unzip the file but when I do that I see the following. Using Windows 11 and either Edge or Firefox. Looks like Windows thinks it's malware.
Proscan offers much than Sentinel but Sentinel is needed for firmware and database updates. Display customization can be done on scanner but easier using Sentinel.
ProScan is mostly software doing more complex things once the scanner is updated/operational. ProScan is a software developer and would be a little more "open" to add/update software features. That's probably most of the reason for the cost. I use Sentinel for some things and ProScan as well as ARC for others.
