Bottom line - there is probably no true ninjutsu being publicly taught today. The true koryu arts in your #1 are esoteric and hard to find, especially ninjutsu related. #2 I think is what one would mostly encounter at "ninjustu" schools. #3 presents some bona fide ninja technique, but as you point out, mixes it with other joint locking arts.

Depends on what you are learning martial arts for man. Krav Maga is a good, stripped down style that's great for self defense and can be learned pretty quickly. "Ninjutsu" is a lot more involved and takes a lot longer to get decent at (and a lot longer to get good).
What do you really learn in Ninjutsu?? It is an art of stealth? Do you learn how to conceal yourself? Like what are the fundamentals involved in Ninjutsu training? What requirements do you need to become a black belt/master in the art?
