Yep, same thing, mags won't drop free. Called Springfield and they confirmed that the Califorina magazine disconnect mechanism will not permit a magazine to drop freely from the frame.

Mags - 10th round not visible in witness hole... normal? So, the two 10 rd. magazines that came with my Glock 17 (just picked it up Monday... w00t!) are defective? I'm unable to see the 10th round in witness hole #10. It's like this on both mags. I have lots of Glock 19 mags, and none of them have had this problem. Is this normal for the G17 mags?
G17 10rd. Mags - 10th round not visible in witness hole... normal?
Hey guys, I googled and read where people measured and they are the same mags. It might have been after market mags. Does anyone have a Sig or Sigs in 9mm and 40 and can verify they are the same dimensions and feed lips? I'm check and both discussions state Mec-Gar mags but are factory Sig mags the same?
