Backyard growers should follow Leo Manuel's advice and plant any mango you love and wait a few years for it to fruit. Here in Southern California it doesn't take 10 years for a seedling to fruit in 3 years you'll have fruits.

For us to get a good Zill Mango tree survival rate. Before planting into our organic system, we Spray/drench 2x each input with, em1, dust with small quantities of donkey/mule manure, Spray/drench with a Biodynamic Compost tea, dust with Biodynamic Compost, dust with dirt taken from under large oak tree. Repeat everything, then plant.

Zill 40-26 Fruit A quick search will show many posts. This 2017 post by Squam256 is not the oldest but is a great clue to where you could get the answer to your question. I suggest you ask him, he is active on the forum and has been fruiting this variety for several years (since 2017).
