I have a clinet's server which is runing on Windows server 2003 R2 32 bit. The hardware is a HP ML 150 G3. The issue is Windows sees only one processor in the task manager. In the device manager there are 2 processors listed. However in the boot.ini /echo %Number_processor% report only 1 processor. I see in the W7 Task Manager/Resource Manager/Network listing that www.007guard.com is sucking up a bunch of resources. I understand this is an internet monitor and malware, but nothing so far can remove it: AVG, SpyBot, Ad-Aware, Malwarebytes, SUPERantivirus and Windows Defender do not find it or deal with it.
It will configure it (the desktop experience install) as it shutsdown and as it boots up, but when it is configuring it when it boots up it gets to configuring it at 15% and then stops and says failure configuring update, Reverting changes. Then it will reboot and try to configure again on boot up and will fail and give me the logon prompt.
