This era of Indian Motorcycles were produced by the Indian Motorcycle Company of America These Indians were manufactured in 1999 at the former CMC's facilities in Gilroy, California. The first "Gilroy Indian" model was a new design called the Chief. Scout and Spirit models were also manufactured from 2001.
I bought my 2025 scout bobber May 10th last week I taken her back to the Indian dealership and the did the performance re-mapping for $319.00. This tune gave my bike significantly greater power in speed and also a much sharper snap starting about 3000rpm.
Is any one going on long tours with their Scout? Love to see some pictures posted....how you have it set up, where you are going, how it is with two up on a long multi day ride. How you load it up for a long tour? Is your passenger comfortable? I love my Scout....really want to tour with it.
