Reverse lights confusion I'm installing a backup cam in my 2011 Aveo sedan. Tapping into the reverse light wire I've found something quite confounding. First, both reverse lights work as they are supposed to. Key off, all wires cold, as expected. Key on in park, both wires to the reverse bulb (left side) are hot. I did this today on my 07 aveo sedan! I have one more tip for u: Use a LARGE C Clamp to hold the brake shoe up while you put the retainingcup, pin, and spring together. This is VERY helpful on both shoes as they like to move around as you only have 2 hands to work with! Thanks again for the pics ans instructions!!

Hello, first post here. I have done a lot of searching to try to fix this. First off, 09 aveo Lt, automatic sedan. Problem is p2135, p2176, and p0053.
I've replaced a bunch of timing belts on the 1st generation Aveos (usually already blown up requiring valves etc) but I recently acquired a 2009 Aveo with the Ecotec engine which is a new beast to me. Water pump not driven by the timing belt! Variable valve timing! What is this?! The car only has 77k miles, but with the track record of the old belts, I would like to get this one replaced for ...
