Re: Blue Lagoon by Matthew D » Sat 7:04 pm My mom and I dined at Blue Lagoon last night. The food was tasty and the service was good. There was a little confusion when we didn't receive the Mahi we ordered, but that was easily rectified.

Is there anywhere in town, or general area, to get a good bananas foster? I saw mention of it at Blue Lagoon, but being primarily seafood, it would be a fight to get the hubby in there!

Seviche, Varanese, Proof on Main, Wild Ginger, and Blue Lagoon among other locals are our favorites and we're hoping to find local equivalents while in San Diego.

We also spent a couple hours at the Blue Lagoon, which was a hoot! We stayed in the burbs at Hotel Kriunes, a family run Inn, quiet and nice. Good breakfast. Seafood is incredible, but they also eat whale, horse meat, etc. Mar- a harbor restaurant, very pretty. We had a fresh seafood stew with coconut and curry. Very good
