WST is one of the go to powders for 45acp usually gives a milder recoil impulse than some others. You should be able to find an accurate load using it. I use it for my main load in my 1911 typically 4.4 grains and it shoots well for me using 230gr fmj bullet. OP OP

If you like that, you can do the same thing with WST, although it may take .1 Grain more powder. I have shot them side by side in a couple of things and can barely tell the difference.
Clays 200 gr LSWC, Universal and WST for 230 gr LRN & fmj. I ran a pretty tight .45 for around 800 rounds without cleaning with Clays before I started getting problems.
Got 2 bottles of WST. $45+Tax OUCH Got Speer 200 grains coming in from MIdWay Anybody got a load with that Combo? Reloading is getting expensive
I think you’ll find data online at Hodgdon for your 200gr bullet. I run a 230gr plated Rainier, at 4.5gr TG 1.230” and it makes major. It burns hot but clean and is very precise. Although I like TG, I prefer the recoil of Clays or WST in .45. Good luck!
Get a can of WST. 4.4 gr under that 200 gr SWC. Cleaner than Bullseye I assume is why you say that?
