Having used a few ThinkPad T,X and keyboard Model M side-by-side, I believe IBM reused electrical/wire design of Model M in ThinkPad products. IBM's Model M is widely regarded as inferior to Model F, one reason being its complete 2-key rollover and very limited 3KRO. Re: ThinkPad 600X - key rollover on arrow keys?

Thinkpads Forum lack of thunderbolt would turn me away from t470p, which is just a Kaby Lake t460p, even the quad core models. subsequent generations have more cores and thunderbolt, with how inexpensively one can hunt down a t490 or l14, if you really want more capability in a 14" laptop the t470p is a dead end.

I have a Thinkpad T490, and recently encountered the following issue. The laptop doesn't start, but when I press the power button, the LEDs light up for about two seconds, the fan starts for two seconds, and then it stops. After another 4-5 seconds, the fan and LED start by themselves, and I hear a single beep.
