I applied Tenacity on Sunday to a large portion of my lawn which has been taken over by Bentgrass. I intend to apply a 2nd application about 2 weeks after so figure Sunday / Monday Aug 24th and then start seeding the large patches of (hopefully) dead bentgrass.
And it seems the tenacity in the Scotts product would be harder to mess up rather than trying to mix in my sprayer and using dye for the first time. Tenacity is a strong herbicide. And it is easy to make mistakes with a sprayer when you are starting out; for those reasons, I'd be a little nervous.

I aerated & overseeded w tenacity at seed down,2 weeks ago. The day after seed down, had washout from a strong storm. There is some bleaching of the turf evident. I am wanting to reseed asap to get things growing & established. Am I ok to reseed 2 weeks post tenacity app?
tenacity is an okay post emergent and an okay preemergent. If you need to seed and do one of those things at the same time then sure. If you need to kill some of the weeds that tenacity is pretty good at then great. As a general broadleaf post or pre emergent its expensive for the effectiveness. TZone is a better choice for you.
This is my first post....so don't shoot me. I'm unclear on the application temp range for Tenacity. Currently our day time highs are above 85. But our early evenings hover in the high 70 to 80. When the temp is within the proper range, can I do an application IF the temp won't be out of range...
