BTW, I saw a blurb somewhere that said the MCX upper is the same on this rifle as a regular MCX. Which means you can get an MCX upper for 1400 bucks. About a hundred bucks in adapter parts allows you to put an MCX upper on an AR lower. SIG sells conversion uppers for over 2 grand. Without a free P365!

Bought myself the MCX to AR adaptor (careful use only the adaptor from SIG, aftermarkets are not real adaptor regardless of what they call it) and built an MCX. So about two grand I got a Ranch Rifle and MCX. Not all AR upper will work with SCR lower.

Which would you rather have HK MR762 or Sig MCX 308? I've been thinking about getting a 16" barrelled regularly available but also relatively newly available 308 semi-auto rifle.

For sale is a Sig Sauer MCX Spear LT/regulator upper that was taken off. Barrel was cut down from 16″ OAL to 13.9″ pin and welded to a surefire warcomp. Work was done by Armstrong arms down in Southern California. Total round count is about 1100. Comes with the MDT front sight as shown. Picked up in SF bay area or can ship on buyer’s expense.

There is a reason why the MCX-R at original price of over $3000 is now selling more than half off. Fitted with MIKE15, it is actually a pretty handy rifle. With it Magpul stock, it is very comfortable now with all that weight removed from the front. well said. I purchased it for the range and bench shooting so weight isn't a big deal to me.
