La Naranjera De Ciber

Welcome to CIBER The Centers for International Business Education and Research (CIBERs) were created by Congress to increase and promote the nation's capacity for international understanding and competitiveness.

Of the three original founders of Ciber, Bobby G. Stevenson emerged as the key figure in Ciber's history, shaping a start-up computer consulting firm into a leading national force by the 1990s, when the computer consulting industry was generating more than $30 billion worth of business a year.

While Ohio State CIBER is located in the Fisher College of Business, it seeks to promote international business education and research and enhance U.S. business competitiveness in the global marketplace throughout the university and across the state.

GSU-CIBER is a national resource center in International Business (IB) offering established expertise and significant investment to advance IB education, research and practice.

Building on the strengths of their faculty and staff, each CIBER organizes a variety of activities to advance the study and teaching of international business and to support applied research on United States competitiveness in the global marketplace.

Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, CIBER was created in 1993 to promote better international understanding. With the tools, connections, and resources we’ve gained over the last 20 years, we’re better equipped than ever.

The national CIBER program, founded under the Omnibus Trade and Competitiveness Act of 1988 and administered through the U.S. Department of Education, links U.S. businesses with the expertise of U.S. universities in areas of international education, language training, and research.
