BB pier was really good about 10 years ago for rock crab, but has been slim pickings in recent years. The Bremerton area has good crabbing, but there are health concerns/pollution.
I live in Astoria, and travel Hwy 202 everyday... fishing from the pier looks very tempting, and much closer than the beach. Does anyone have other suggestions for bank fishing along the Youngs Bay/River?

Seems like pier fishing is the name of the game, generally best done during the winter months, (hint hint), from what I also understand is the more light shining into the water the better therefore I am thinking along ferry docks/piers?
