Skype for Linux Beta sound problem i can hear other party fine, but skype is not hearing my voice. have ckecked microphone is working; it records ok on Audacity for example. xubuntu 16.04 - i dont want ubuntu 17 because that doesnt recognise my wifi driver the old pre-microsoft version of skype used to work with same hardware
I closed down my email address attached to the 1st skype account and since then (Jan 2018) I have not been able to access using my correct password. I then created a new Skype account and put credit on it and yesterday I logged out of it and then tried to log back in and it didn't recognise my password and said I have tried too many times.
The issue is that my Hotmail and Skype accounts fail to recognise the password, which means I have no option but to reset it each time the problem occurs. It is annoying to the point I am considering shutting both accounts and using an alternative provider.
