Re: how to fix "port issue" by ambipro » Fri 10:26 pm In your situation, it is likely that you won't be able to have a port forwarded to your computer, and thus deluge gain access to incoming connections from the internet, which is what is causing the port issue warning.
I would like to get a better understanding of deluge use of connection and ports I configured the deluge server to use a specific network interface (10.33.239.246) and a specific port (56881) for incoming connections. Client requests are served on the default port 58846. When I launch it, I see deluge listening on the following ports:
I just installed Deluge and I'm facing some issue with the port. I've tried every fix that I found on the web but nothing seems to be working. Despite the deluge port check should be pretty accurate (tries bind socket (through php fsockopen) from deluge website to your ip:port), though just in case then Google "port check" and test one of these, with deluge (d) open (else will fail as none listening/answers request). This sent me to checking the Port Forwarding on my (Windscribe) VPN and setting up an Ephemeral Port. Back to Deluge, I then changed Incoming Port from Random and entered the Ephemeral Port number.
