Honestly, I'm confused by this plan. Seems like not a very good idea, other than the fact that it puts some decent EVs in the hands of consumers up there. Having said all that, I'm conflicted, and maybe it's true that the U.S. auto makers (other than Tesla) have been pampered for too long.

Just over a quarter of US Capitals are the largest city in their state. Hell, for the vast majority of states the Capital city isn't even the second largest city. You were not alive when we got to 49f in May or 50's in June of 1980. Again all time record of Tampa in May is 49°F. Honestly I find that a warm record low, since I remember in northern Alabama 2020 I had like 37°F. Well Tampa had some 50°Fs for that date, at least.
Honestly I dont understand why any team would allow their high lottery picks to play. Scoot, Miller, none of those guys should be anywhere near this. You've got a bunch of no hopers going all out trying to gain attention. Why would you put the hope of your franchise in their way? Every fan would be cursing out the GM if that lottery pick tears an ACL playing. Save that for the games that count.
