Add your new content into the header or footer. Select Close Header and Footer or press ESC to exit. Change or delete a header or footer from another single page
To eliminate a header, for example, deleting the header on a title page, select it and then check the Different First Page box. Select Close Header and Footer or press Esc to exit. To delete, select Insert > Header (or Footer) > Remove Header (or Remove Footer).
Return to the cell with the broken formula, which will be in edit mode, and Excel will highlight the spot where it's having a problem. If you still don't know what to do from there and want to start over, you can press ESC again, or select the Cancel button in the formula bar, which will take you out of edit mode. Freeze the top row of headings Freeze the top row of column headings so that only the data scrolls. Press Enter or Esc to make sure you're done editing a cell.
