Founded in 1999, Elite Development Program (EDP) is one of the largest organizers of youth soccer leagues and tournaments in the U.S. EDP operates youth leagues for boys and girls ages 8-19, conducts a Futures program for players ages 7-10, and operates U20/23 men’s and women’s leagues. EDP also runs over 20 tournaments each year.
The EDP League consists of teams primarily from NJ, PA, DE, MD and bordering states. Teams are placed by geography and competitive level to accomplish the league mission of a good games every week with reasonable travel. The top divisions at 13U-18U are a pathway into the National League Conferences.
At the core of EDP Soccer and iSE programming is a robust schedule of outdoor tournaments each year. Held at some of the finest venues on the east coast, these events cater to teams ranging in age from 8U to 19U and provide well-structured competition at every level, from local soccer teams to the top clubs in the nation.
EDP Soccer, in partnership with CMSSL, will operate 9U-10U Boys and Girls Divisions for teams affiliated with MSYSA. The league offers competitive levels with reduced geography, with a blended scheduling approach of pre-scheduled and self-scheduled games.
EDP Soccer Rules of the Game 2022 EDP Soccer Rules of Play 1. Each team’s players, coaches and supporters shall take one side of the field, with the opposing groups on opposite sides of the field. Normally, there will be signage to indicate the designated side for the home and away teams.
The US Youth Soccer National League Mid Atlantic Conference, Managed by EDP Soccer, consists of teams primarily from Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The top teams in the Mid Atlantic Conference top tier divisions will earn advancement to the US Youth Soccer Regional Championships (NCS) and automatically qualify for National League Playoffs
