However, I am now receiving Windows activation errors. As soon as I got the equipment stood back up and powered up, I was prompted with needing to activate my copy of Windows. This particular copy was from the Windows 7 to Windows 10 upgrade a few years ago. I go to the Windows Activation screen in settings and I see the following:

I thought they disabled Windows 7/8/8.1 keys from upgrading to Windows 10. WHY would they disable a retail boxed Windows 10 Pro key? That makes absolutely no sense at all. The machine I am attempting to activate Windows 10 on will not run Windows 11 because it doesn't meet the hardware requirements.
