I also note that whereas with Audacity 3.7.5 I can use the recording slider to change the recording level from my Edirol UA-!EX this no longer appears to be the case with AU4 alpha. Is that intentional or a bug? It’s not something we discussed. Definitely sounds like an issue to be raised. As you guessed, GitHub is definitely the place.
