I've tried doing this step, Extract the distribution tarball. shell> tar -xzvf cacti-version.tar.gz Copy the distribution tarball to the existing installation. shell> /bin/cp -rpf cacti-version cacti but when checked again the cacti is still at the same version there is no change, how do I check it?
