I’m talking about a Colt 6921 vs. an M4A1, or even the same M4A1 firing on auto vs. firing on semi, so there is no variation in weapons setup. Is a single cycle of the bolt faster on auto vs. semi or is this myth?
This is probably going to sound dumb but I am going to ask any way … What is an M4 carbine as compared to other AR platforms? What are the differences between the M4 and the M4A1? I hope someone will take the time to enlighten me. Thanks, ntxyankee
None of my personal M4/AR types have had any bolt breakages. Colt M4A1 SOCOM II, carbine length gas no issues. Daniel Defense V7 Pro, rifle length gas no issues. Knights Armament SR-15 no issues (also not a standard bolt). Lastly a Frankenstein CMMG pile of crap with a mystery bolt, has had extraction failures but no breakage.
