Just suddenly my microsoft office 365 apps i.e. excel, word and powerpoint stopped working on my laptop. when I try to start the apps now I get the errors "Excel.exe - Bad Image".
Because you were opening a Word file but received an “Excel.exe – Bad Image” message, this is unlikely to be just a file association issue. It more commonly points to a problem within the Office installation itself (for example, a corrupted component or DLL used by Office apps).
I understand how frustrating it can be to encounter a “Bad Image” error after resetting your PC especially when multiple fixes haven’t worked. This issue usually occurs when system files or application components become corrupted or incompatible after a reset or update.
Every time I try to open Word or Excel I get a BAD IMAGE error message.
